Faraway Land (2018)

Sinopsis: Faraway Land is a documentary that seeks to deepen in the reality of the refugee-volunteer phenomenon. We have travelled to Athens, where still today thousands of refugees waiting for being relocted to other countries can be found. They have survived to the maritime crossing to mainland, but now they need, once more, to be welcomed, listened and accompanied.
It is not another story on helping the refugees: it is a story about coexistence. We will tell the stories of many refugees, and we will show the diversity of situations that each one of them has lived. Each refugee circumstances are different, and we want to show the common point that joins all the refugees, and all people: the importance of a true human relation in order to face life. Whatever the circumstances.
